What’s Included
Free Home Assessment
Our certified Home Performance Advisors will visit your home and assess insulation, heating, moisture levels, ventilation, lighting, appliances, and more.
You’ll receive a personalised report with practical, cost-saving recommendations – including simple behaviour changes and maintenance tips.
Free Small Retrofits
Depending on your needs, you may receive items like:
LED light bulbs
Draught-stopping
Low-flow shower heads
Portable heaters
Mould Kits
Free Large Retrofits (valued up to $1,000)
Some homes may be eligible for larger items like:

We help make sure the home you’re renting out is warm, dry and meets the new HHS.

CEWh certified home performance advisers are available to assess your rental property against the Healthy Homes Standards (HHS), and make recommendations for necessary upgrades.

Meridian Energy Wellbeing Program
The cost of living is a real issue for many New Zealanders. To help Meridian have created an Energy Wellbeing Fund with a $5 million investment, aimed at supporting 5,000 Meridian and Powershop households in hardship on their journeys towards energy wellbeing. CEWh Home Performance advisers are contracted by Meridian to carry out in-home assessments and interventions from draft stopping to curtains in the wider Whāingaroa area.
